Still no rain, not even a cloud.
A few more peas are pushing out.
I went down both sides of rows with a hoe,
To remove weeds taking advantage of the vacumn.
Tiny pea plants were crying plaintively for water,
I gave them the water I had carried for watering at end of day. They were so thirsty.
I'll carry more later.

Two more of my lettuce transplants, the Ithaca I think, were vigourously letting me know
they were ready. Wanted to join their brother out in that nice homey fertile raised bed.
So I set them out, with a dose of the 12-4-8.

I made little protectors from packaging our take-out food came in this weekend.
So they wouldn't get whipped by the wind.



Recycling is my middle name.
