From: Saundra Subject: Re April the Eightennth It's spring in Western Kentucky Tornadoes have flown An earthquake has shaken The houses and grounds But in spite of all this The birds sweetly sing And various blossoms proudly Hold up their heads To give praise to the Father above Yes, it's spring in Western Kentucky The beautiful shoots stick their cute little heads Above ground level to get ready to sprout And bloom a rainbow of color for me To share with my neighbors as they daily pass by April showers are falling so gently My lilies and tulips raise their arms for a drink Gentle sun beams escape from the clouds And bring out the happiness in all that abound To give thanks to my Heavenly Father above. Yes, it's spring in Western Kentucky The beautiful land that I love. Saundra
